January Sigil: Potentiality Energizer
Opening doors can be a risky business if we don’t know what’s on the other side. And when we cross certain thresholds in life, we enter new, unexplored territories. We have to be energized and alert. We need power to push through all of the discomfort and fear that threaten to keep us in our place.
Not that there’s any chance of being kept down. No, movement is inevitable. Question is; How? Where? We can spiral into more chaos as we are unable to harness this new power, incapable of handling the new emerging events in our lives. Or we learn to bring our energies into focus and ground ourselves, and ride the winds and currents through uncharted waters.
Let me clarify what this sigil represents. This new threshold being presented to us, this initiation, is going to happen without our permission. We cannot control this force coming in to change us. This is a cresting wave, aeons in the making. And it’s BIG.
I’ve mentioned many times that we are moving through big energies right now. It brings new potential realities and new dangers. We cannot push away unconscious forces forever.
Once we recognize these forces as Life itself wanting, needing to express itself through us, we are already in less danger from ourselves. So even though it seems scary if we continue to ignore it, once we accept it as reality, we are then able to work with it to create an essentially more powerful, meaningful life. We can ride the wave, we can find the center of the storm and rest in the chaos.
This powerful energy needs a channel, a worthy vessel. When I tap into this sigil, I immediately feel an almost overwhelming power available, I feel the vertigo of a big wave surfer cutting through the wave’s tunnel. And when I allow myself to feel this energy and fear without judgement, it becomes excitement. It becomes exhilaration. New realities, higher potentials appear for me to enter. And I must say, it is as if the world has opened up to me, and many dreams I’ve had in the past are now becoming reality.
The shadow side is that many fears are reemerging to be examined, and eventually let go of in favor of trust and adventure. If this is happening to you, I recommend allowing them to be part of your inner conversation, but do not allow them to control your story. You do not want fear to overwhelm you while you’re inside a 90 foot wave!
Something happens to our fear the more we embrace adventure in our lives, the more we face them by doing the things we are afraid of. They become less effective in stopping us doing the things we love.
So why this sigil? What can you do with it?
Stare at it, or visualize it, and allow yourself to feel whatever arises when you start to think about the year ahead and what you wish to accomplish, or what it might bring to you. What does it bring up? Fear, doubt, excitement, joy? Whatever it is just allow yourself to feel it until it subsides.
Imagine these emotions transforming into power that is provided by what this sigil represents; Boundless, natural energy, pouring in to transform and destroy.
This will bring new potential realities for you to explore.
