February Sigil: Primal Processor
January had the energy of a tsunami wave that we somehow had to surf. This February the energy has that of a squall. A long lasting, raging storm. We are on our little boat. And we have to learn how to read the waves and the winds. Whilst being battered by the waves!
We have to somehow reflect on the big energies and emotions. We need a container, a way to reflect and integrate. This sigil is the container. We can visualize this sigil in order to allow the energies to come through piecemeal. Bite sized chunks of intensity, over a long period of time. The vortex symbols represent this raw powerful force, and the half circles represent the containers used to catch, contain and tame until we bring it into our world and then we allow our subconscious to integrate it, then we can reflect on the energies, and perhaps make some sense of them and how they affect our worlds.
Now, it’s gonna suck sometimes. So, in order of us to recognize the payoff of going through such a sucky thing, here’s what is coming through:
Our most powerful, ancient selves. The parts that we as a culture put away because it was just too damn volatile for the time. We had no container for it. The religions of the world certainly helped us to reflect and distance ourselves from it enough to bring in the light. To create a barrier so we can aspire to be more like our spiritual teachers.
When we did so, we also created a shadow of the instinctive, primal power that we harnessed to cope with the savagery of the world. We thought we could starve it to death. But it came through still. Barbarity is still alive and present.
We left Eden. We had to. But the life forms it contained followed us.
This archetypal force is making it way back. Ancient, dry, river beds are running anew. Glacial ice caps are melting to reveal prehistoric forms long forgotten to us.
We cannot ignore it any longer. We must greet this force with acceptance and understanding. It is the angel of Jacob, that we all must wrestle eventually.
This indigenous energy is also full to the brim with life! Vital, passionate, visceral. It is the blood pumping in our veins, it is the sex and death urge we tried so hard to deny, only to unconsciously act out in the world. It is the joy of creation and destruction. It is the hungry jaws of the wolf, and the soft, gentle gaze of the deer.
It is the only way we can be a part of this wondrous world again. If we do, and we learn to feel these powerful energies without acting on them, we will be filled with something greater than our little selves believe we are. We we will have a deeper connection to the life inside and outside. We will have the means and power to change our worlds for the better, as we merge with this universal intelligence that fuels and informs all life. Beyond thought, beyond reason. It will be hard. But it will be worth it.
If we do not:
Nature says we will either be predator or prey. We will cling to idealogies that are simply only fronts for our deeper desire to feel powerful. To feel greater than ourselves. And we will project these shadowy forces onto others who do not share such beliefs. That can lead to atrocity beyond measure.
We can lose ourselves to addiction. Unable to process or understand the pain we are feeling. The ways of the world will grow stranger, and we will have no context or strength to make sense of it.
We will feel isolated from the world., from our families and loved ones, and from the god inside. For the god of life, is also the god of death. The god of reason is also the god of madness.
Jung said it best:
“One does not become enlightened by imagining figures of light, but by making the darkness conscious.”
We must get to know our other halves. We must accept their wisdom, their power and their danger. Our love will only deepen, our understanding will only become more cogent, and our influence will only become more benign.
So when the big stuff comes up, use this sigil to remind yourself to take time to reflect on and integrate these powerful pieces of yourself.
