What if nothing is going right?
What if you’re doing everything ‘right’, but you get no outside confirmation?
How do you keep believing in yourself? We often look at outside indicators of success as the only means of boosting our confidence. Inversely, it also means that when things are going bad our self confidences droops like a wilted flower.
This sigil connects us to a level of confidence that does not sway with the current trajectories of our lives.
A quiet, solid support that nurtures the spirit while keeping us in an unswerving state of equanimity.
Everything is timing. Especially during these chaotic times. While things decay and break down, other things grow to take their place. Too soon, and the new growths might be swept along with everything else in the tide.
The farmer knows of Faith. As does the expectant mother. This sigil teaches of quiet faith. Faith in the process. Faith in our decisions that brought us here. Faith in the planets, faith in truth and love. Faith in our soul’s path, and our ability to walk it! We can always meet the circumstances of our lives with this willingness to grow and learn from even the most trying and frustrating of times.
Interestingly, when I look back at last October’s sigil, it has this similar womb looking, protective circle that surrounds the precious cargo inside it. Last year it was a little spiral of growth. This year, see how it has grown. See how it is closer to the earth. Ready to be born. But not quite yet! It is taking shape! Just as you are taking shape!
So when you stare at this sigil, imagine it to be a baby in the womb, almost there! We cannot rush birth! But we can savor the process, and trust it! And we can trust ourselves to feel out the timing of things. Right now, chop the wood, draw the water and savor the quiet.
Read, meditate, take runs, drink wine. Strengthen the self through these simple practices. Know that it all provides fertile ground for future growth. Let this sigil remind you of this truth whenever you look at it.
