August Sigil: Orbital Alchemiser
The relationship between Soul and Earth, Earth and Sun, Sun and Soul, and between all three as a transformative process is what we are exploring with this sigil.
A delicate, magnetic ballet, between Celestial bodies, which I consider the Soul as one.
In the previous months we have been using the sigils to build up our energies, strengthen our connections to the our personal destiny, receive the Sun as a separate source of inspiration, then how to flow with the movements of the Earth, bringing our attention to the little moments of inspiration that lead us to our greater truths.
The July Sigil (Tribal Transformer) has broadened our individual identities to include our tribal identities, fusing our personal destinies with the collective destiny.
This August we are connecting again to the communal intelligence. But not of the Human Tribe. We are bringing forth the combined magic of Sun, Earth and Soul.
First thing to recognize is that our movements already align with that of the planets and stars. We are made of the same stuff, subject to the same laws of the Universe. We are refined cosmic stardust.
There is an invisible fascia-like energy that links all life and all matter. It has been called many things. Mana, Chi, Ki, The Force. It is this energy that we are bringing into focus, primarily the link between ourselves and the heavenly bodies. The magnificence of the universe reflects our own magnificence and vice versa.
We are bigger than the little selves we believe ourselves to be. To become aware of this reality helps to loosen the grip of the ego. When we realize we are a part of a greater intelligence that guides all, it seems more and more absurd that the egoic consciousness can actually successfully guide us. Its scope is limited, its vision is myopic. Allowing, letting go, with full awareness of our situation, creates space for guidance from something other than ego, or it's dark cousin, Id.
“God is all there is, and I am part of it.” Is another way to go about this sigil. In this instance, the aspect of God is the unseen forces that move us and the planets.
So, here we are with this rather simple Sigil. We can see the Sun above, the figure with its head a spiral, all swirling consciousness. And with its legs wrapped around the Earth.
A simple meditation is required to bring about this awareness:
If you can, be outside for this one during the daytime.
Feel your feet connected to the earth, imagine they grow roots all the way down to the core.
Once you feel grounded and secure, imagine your energy body is expanding outwards in all directions; North, South, East and West. Touching upon all that exists on this beautiful blue and green orb.
Now, look up to the Sun, and lets this energy reach upwards, traveling along the invisible fascia that links all matter. Up through the clouds, past the stratosphere, and the blue glow. Through the space dust and radiation, crossing the great void.
The Sun grows larger and larger in your vision until you get so close, its light is all you can see. Imagine your energy penetrating it to its core. Imagine being filled with its fire and its light, being condensed by the immense forces of pressure. This immense energy commands all life to revolve around it. All destinies of the planets and their denizens are weaved around this powerful, bright, life nurturing energy.
Now feel the lines of energetic and gravitational communication from the Sun, to the Earth, and finally to You. Allow yourself to be the channel that expresses the greater life. This great cosmic intelligence that guides all.
Allow yourself to be in that place for as long as feels comfortable.
Once ready, imagine your energy traveling back to Earth, to touch her beautiful, expansive, pitted surface, then finally condensing back into your body.
Reflect on how you feel. How you perceive things.
Use this meditation any time you feel the need to rise above your troubles to gain a higher perspective in life. Or when you need to feel connected to something greater. This about the experience, not for any particular insight into your own personal life. If you do get anything, well, that’s just extra gravy.
